The MiniMoa is one of the classic glider shapes of all time, its design dates back to 1935 and you can see the influence of the birds within its features in both wing shape and gull wing dihedral. The full size glider established several world records, including an altitude record of 6687 metres in 1938, and then went on to win the world championships in two consecutive years. There are now only four full size aircraft left flying, one of which is based in the UK.
Our model has taken all of these classic features and reproduced them down to the last detail in EPOFLEXY, rather than wood, making it highly detailed, light and very strong. We have also added an electric motor so you can fly this model anywhere, any time, to whatever height record you want to set. And when high enough, you can shut the throttle and the propeller folds away to give you the best streamlined glider shape for soaring.
