The T-80UK is an advanced command variant of the Russian T-80U main battle tank, developed in the late 1980s.

The T-80UK retains the key features of the T-80U, including its powerful 125mm smoothbore gun, composite armor, and gas turbine engine, which gives it superior speed and mobility compared to diesel-powered tanks.

The T-80UK is equipped with additional communication and command systems, enabling it to coordinate operations more effectively on the battlefield.

It also features improved defensive capabilities, such as the Shtora-1 countermeasures system, which disrupts incoming guided missiles, and enhanced reactive armor for better protection against modern anti-tank weapons.

Designed for leadership roles in tank units, the T-80UK combines the firepower and agility of the T-80U with advanced electronics and protection, making it a formidable asset in modern armored warfare.
