History
The Junkers Ju 52/3m was a prominent transport aircraft during the Second World War, serving as the backbone of the Luftwaffe's air transport fleet.

Known affectionately as "Tante Ju" (Auntie Ju) or "Iron Annie", this tri-motor aircraft was initially designed as a civilian airliner in the early 1930s.
