The Focke-Wulf Ta 152H-0 was an advanced German high-altitude interceptor developed during the final stages of the Second World War.
Designed by Kurt Tank, the Ta 152 represented the ultimate evolution of the Fw 190 series, optimised specifically to counter high-flying Allied bombers.
The H-0 was a pre-production variant used primarily for evaluation and limited operational testing.
It featured an extended wingspan for improved high-altitude performance, a pressurised cockpit, and the powerful Junkers Jumo 213 engine, giving it exceptional climb rate and performance at altitude.
Armed with a heavy central cannon and additional wing-mounted weapons, the Ta 152H combined firepower with speed and agility.
Although introduced too late to have a significant impact on the war, the Ta 152H-0 remains one of the most technically impressive piston-engine fighters ever produced.
This model captures the aircraft’s distinctive long-winged profile and late-war Luftwaffe styling, making it an excellent choice for aviation modellers interested in experimental or late-WWII German aircraft.
