The de Havilland DH.89 Dragon Rapide is a British short-haul biplane airliner developed in the 1930s.
Known for its reliability and elegant design, it features a twin-engine configuration and a wooden airframe.
First flown in 1934, the Dragon Rapide could carry 6–8 passengers and was widely used for both civil and military purposes.
Its excellent performance, even in remote areas with limited infrastructure, made it a popular choice for regional airlines and air services throughout the UK, Europe, and the British Empire.
