The M752 Lance was an American-class surface-to-ground missile system from the Cold War period. The first prototypes of the MGM-52 Lance missile appeared around 1965, and it served in field units in the period 1972-1992 / 1993.

The MGM-52 Lance missile was designed to replace the Honest John and MGM-29 Sergeant missiles in the line. Compared to its predecessors, the new missile had a better range, lower offset and spread (CEP), and above all, much greater mobility. In the land version, the Lance missiles were usually mounted on the modernized chassis of the M113 transporter, called the M752. The Lance missile fire battery consisted of two M752 vehicles (each with one missile) and two M688 transport vehicles (each with two missiles). In total, four variants of the Lance missile were created. The first was designated MGM-52A, which had a range of up to 130 km and carried a nuclear warhead with a power of up to 100kT. The second version is the MGM-52B with a range of up to 75 km and carrying a conventional warhead weighing 454 kg. The third version - MGM-52C - had a conventional cargo warhead, with a range of up to 90 km. The last version was called MGM-52D and carried a nuclear warhead with a power of up to 10kT over a distance of up to 130 kilometers. The Lance missile system was used by the US Army, but was also used by many other armies, for example: the Netherlands, Israel, Italy and Great Britain.
