The Axial® SCX10 III 1987 Toyota SR5 is Axial's first officially licensed 1/10-scale Toyota, combining iconic SR5 styling with Trail-Gear components that real off-roaders trust.

The SR5's authenticity starts with the detailed Xtra Cab body featuring scale-moulded grille, headlights, taillights, and hood latches and continues down to the amazing Trail-Gear (TG) axles they not only look cool but increase performance. The AR45P portal axles feature authentic fabricated-style housings that capture Trail-Gear's designs perfectly while providing superior ground clearance and durability. Completing the authentic Trail-Gear look are the officially licensed Creeper Lock beadlock wheels wrapped in Interco Super Swamper tyres.

Built on the proven SCX10 III platform, the SR5 features a steel C-channel chassis that reduces flexing while increasing suspension precision. The durable LCXU transmission with dig function provides reliable power transfer, while aluminium adjustable coilover shocks deliver tunable performance. High-clearance bumpers optimize approach and departure angles for technical terrain.

The ready-to-run package includes a Spektrum™ SLT3 transmitter, SR515 DSMR® 5-channel waterproof receiver, and 40A waterproof brushed ESC all designed to help drivers succeed. 1/10 SCX10 III 1987 Toyota SR5 RC Features

Equipped with a high performance, single-speed LCXU transmission, the SCX10 III 1987 Toyota Xtra Cab has a low centre of gravity for stability over courses and trails. The transmission includes a full set of ball bearings, all-metal internal gears for strength and durability. The internal gears can also be switched to allow for our optional standard axles (SA gears sold separately). The included Dig function allows you to lock the rear wheels on command to give tighter turning and also help the front tyres grip the rock on those hard-to-reach ledges.

CLIPLESS BODY SYSTEM for the Axial 1/10 SCX10 III 1987 Toyota SR5 RC

The new clipless body system is tough and is built to take some tumbles on the trail. It also gives the truck a nice clean scale look and feel. Just push in the latching tab on the rear of the truck, lift and pull back and your body is off in seconds.
