The Nashorn Sd.Kfz. 164 was a German tank destroyer used during World War II.
It was built on a modified Panzer IV chassis and was armed with a powerful 8.8cm Pak 43/1 anti-tank gun.
The Nashorn was designed to engage enemy tanks at long range and had a low profile and sloping armour for added protection.
It was also equipped with a 7.92mm machine gun for defence against infantry.
The Nashorn saw action on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, and its powerful gun and mobility made it a formidable opponent for Allied tanks.
However, its lack of a turret made it vulnerable to flanking attacks and it had limited ammunition storage.
The Nashorn was eventually replaced by the more heavily armoured Jagdpanther tank destroyer later in the war.
