The Pz.Kpfw. V Ausf. G Panther Late Production was a German medium tank introduced during World War II.
It represented the final production variant of the Panther series, refined for increased reliability and combat effectiveness.
The Ausf. G featured improved armor protection, including a redesigned hull with sloped side plates for enhanced deflection of enemy fire.
It retained the powerful 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 gun, which was highly effective against Allied armor.
Other upgrades included simplified manufacturing processes, enhanced crew ergonomics, and better engine cooling systems.
Widely regarded as one of the most advanced tanks of its time, the Ausf. G balanced firepower, mobility, and protection, but production challenges and resource shortages limited its overall impact.
