The 3.7cm PaK-36 was a German anti-tank gun used during World War II.
It was designed in the early 1930s and was used extensively by the German army during the early part of the war.
The gun was relatively lightweight and easy to manoeuvre, which made it popular with German infantry units. It had a maximum range of about 5.5 kilometres and was effective against most Allied tanks of the time.
The 3.7cm PaK-36 was mounted on a split-trail carriage and could be towed by a variety of vehicles.
It was also often used in static defensive positions.
Despite its effectiveness early in the war, the 3.7cm PaK-36 became increasingly outdated as Allied tanks became more heavily armoured.
It was eventually replaced by larger, more powerful guns such as the 5cm PaK-38 and 7.5cm PaK-40.
Overall, the 3.7cm PaK-36 was an important weapon in the early years of World War II and played a significant role in many of the early German victories.
