Despite its much-vaunted and powerful panzer divisions, the German military was far from being fully mechanized at any point during WWII.
Indeed, many German infantrymen had to rely on their own feet, on horses or, if they were lucky, on the humble pushbike.
Now Dragon is going to release a German military bicycle that was such a typical means of transport throughout the war in 1/6 scale.
Indeed, such bikes are widely seen in wartime photos and movie clips.
This German bike is highly detailed, as demonstrated by the fineness of the spokes on the pair of wheels.
Even the bicycle pump mounted on the frame is included.
Furthermore, the handlebars can be turned and the pedals rotated to make the bike as lifelike as possible.
This means the bicycle can be adjusted to provide that exact nuance that a modeler might be seeking for a stunning standalone desktop piece.
This particular bike is fitted with a rear carrier rack to which various items of personal gear can be fitted too.
