The Fokker E.III was a German World War I fighter aircraft designed by Dutch engineer Anthony Fokker.

Introduced in 1915, it was a single-seat monoplane characterized by its distinctive "streaked" appearance due to the use of plywood covering.

Powered by a rotary engine, it featured a synchronized machine gun, allowing it to fire through the propeller arc without damaging the blades.

With its maneuverability and firepower, the Fokker E.III played a significant role in establishing German air superiority during the early stages of the war.

Its simplicity, ruggedness, and effectiveness in aerial combat made it a formidable adversary against Allied aircraft of its time.
