The Force™8 twin cartridge half mask with Typhoon™ valve offers superior low breathing resistance and a 4-point suspension harness with quick release buckles.
The mask is made with a durable thermoplastic rubber offering a superior fit to most face shapes.
The mask accepts the full range of low-profile Force™8 filters giving the Force™8 the flexibility to be used for many applications, providing filtering protection against particulates, many gases and vapours.
Features of the Force8™ Half Mask with Typhoon™ Valve:
- Typhoon™ Exhalation Valve: Low resistance exhalation valve for easy breathing, with stable mask configuration.
- Harness: Fully adjustable 4-point cradle suspension ensuring an effective facial fit, complete with quick release buckles.
- Comfort: Durable thermoplastic rubber mask offering a superior fit to most face shapes comfortably.
- CR2 Reflectivity: Reflective strips create increased visibility in low-light environments for added safety.
- Force™ Filters: Replaceable filter cartridges. Cost effective Force™8 filters available with low profile angle for minimum visual impairment.
- Conformity: Conforms to EN140 (Face piece), EN14387:2004 (Filter performance), EN143:200 (Filter performance)
PLEASE NOTE:
When installing the filters to your mask, please note that the filters do require a reasonable amount of force to be applied to rotate them into the “locked” position.
This is to ensure that the gasket between the filters and the mask body is well compressed and therefore sealing the interface efficiently.
When carrying out this operation, just take care not to grip the exhaust valve body inside the mask.
However, you may hold the overall mask body with the required force to rotate the filters into the “locked” position.
Do not twist both filters at the same time.
