Straight or curved?
Two types of needles for different situations!
Gerade with excellent straight-line stability.
The cutting-edge shape is specialized for carving straight lines, so if you get used to it, enabling freehand carving straight and clean lines.
It is very sturdy and ideal for use as a carving tool with high cutting power.
Easy to move in any direction, Kurve is ideal for carving curves.
The cutting edge is not directional, enabling you to change directions easily while scribing. It’s also ideal for carving curves.
Based on its characteristics, guide tapes are required when carving lines.
Needles have no peculiarities and are relatively easy to use for beginners.
Stress-free and efficient carving is possible if you know each characteristic of each needle.
