Type 4 fighter Shippuu (Ki-84) is produced by Nakajima

It was equipped with a 2000 horsepower class Ha-45 engine and had excellent speed and manoeuvrability, it also had a powerful armament.

When it was decided to adopt the system at the end of March 1945, it was produced under the name of "Daitoa" "decisive battle machine"

After mass production began, there was a problem with poor performance such as engine deterioration due to the materials and machining technology, about 3,500 planes were put into production.

After the war, it was tested in the United States and was hailed as "The best Japanese fighter in the Pacific War."
