The PLA Navy Type 21 Class Missile Boat is a fast attack vessel that was developed by China in the 1960s.

It was designed for use in coastal waters, where its speed and maneuverability would give it an advantage over larger, more heavily armed ships.

The Type 21 Class Missile Boat is approximately 120 feet (37 meters) long and has a displacement of around 220 tons.

It is powered by four diesel engines that give it a top speed of around 36 knots (67 kilometers per hour).

The boat's armament consists of four YJ-1 (C-801) anti-ship missiles, as well as a 25mm dual-purpose gun and several machine guns.

The Type 21 Class Missile Boat was used extensively by the Chinese Navy during the Cold War, and was considered a highly effective platform for coastal defense and offensive operations.

It was capable of quickly striking enemy ships in littoral waters, and was also used for reconnaissance and patrol missions.

Today, the Type 21 Class Missile Boat is no longer in active service with the Chinese Navy, although it remains in use with some of China's allies.

While it was an effective vessel in its time, its relatively small size and limited armament make it less effective in the modern era of naval warfare.
