The 10 cm leFH 14/19 (t) was a Czech-designed light field howitzer adopted by the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War.

Originally developed by Škoda as the houfnice vz. 14/19, it was a modernised version of the Austro-Hungarian M.14 howitzer, featuring a lengthened barrel and enhanced recoil system for improved range and accuracy.

Following the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939, large numbers of these howitzers were absorbed into German service and redesignated leFH 14/19 (t) — the “(t)” indicating Czech origin.

The gun was chambered for 100 mm shells and featured a hydro-spring recoil mechanism, horizontal sliding-wedge breech, and a box trail carriage.

It was capable of firing a 13.6 kg projectile up to 9,800 metres, with a maximum elevation of +48°.

Despite being based on a World War I design, the leFH 14/19 (t) proved reliable and effective.

It saw service throughout the war in second-line and occupation units, especially in static defensive roles.

Its continued use by various European armies — including Italy, Hungary, and Yugoslavia — underscores its durability and sound engineering.

Compact, robust, and well-balanced, the 10 cm leFH 14/19 (t) remains a notable example of early 20th-century artillery adapted for modern warfare.
