However, the Polish Army was caught in a difficult situation in 1939.

They were outnumbered and outgunned by the German forces, who also utilized modern armored units and blitzkrieg tactics.

Despite fierce resistance and several notable victories, the Polish military ultimately struggled to hold back the German advance.

The invasion of Poland marked the beginning of World War II, and the valiant efforts of the Polish infantry became a symbol of national heroism and resistance.

Although Poland was defeated in 1939, its infantry's bravery and determination in the face of overwhelming odds are remembered as a significant chapter in the country's history.
