Originally based on the American Ford Model A, the Soviet-built GAZ-A became a widely used vehicle in the 1930s.
After the German invasion of the Soviet Union during Operation Barbarossa, many captured GAZ-A cars were repurposed and pressed into service by the Wehrmacht.
These light utility vehicles, reliable and easy to maintain, were adapted for a variety of roles—ranging from liaison duties to light transport—especially in rear-line and occupied territories.
This highly detailed 1/35 scale model kit accurately depicts the GAZ-A in German service, featuring authentic Wehrmacht modifications including jerry cans, German markings, and optional field equipment.
