The Aero Ae-45S Super Aero was a Czechoslovakian light utility aircraft produced by Aero Vodochody in the 1950s.
A development of the successful Ae-45 model, the Ae-45S featured various improvements and upgrades, earning it the "Super Aero" designation.
Equipped with a pair of Walter Minor 6-III engines, this twin-engine, low-wing monoplane offered enhanced performance and reliability compared to its predecessor.
The Ae-45S was designed to fulfill multiple roles, including passenger transport, training, aerial photography, and agricultural tasks.
Its robust construction, coupled with a spacious cabin layout, made it popular among private pilots, flying clubs, and small operators.
The aircraft's versatility, combined with its economical operation and ease of maintenance, contributed to its widespread use both domestically and internationally.
Despite being produced in relatively small numbers, the Aero Ae-45S Super Aero left a lasting legacy as a dependable workhorse in general aviation and utility flying applications.
