The Aérospatiale Alouette III is a legendary light utility helicopter, admired worldwide for its reliability, agility, and unmistakable streamlined design.
Introduced in the early 1960s, it quickly became a versatile multi-role platform, serving military, police, and civil operators across more than 30 countries.
Powered by the dependable Turboméca Artouste IIIB turboshaft engine, the Alouette III delivered excellent high-altitude performance and superb handling, making it ideal for demanding missions.
Throughout its long service career, the helicopter undertook a wide range of roles including search-and-rescue, reconnaissance, liaison duties, casualty evacuation, and mountain operations.
This model kit accurately recreates the aircraft’s elegant airframe, open cockpit visibility, and distinctive three-blade rotor system.
