The Nord 262 was a French-built twin-engine turboprop regional airliner that saw service with a variety of operators worldwide, including National Airlines and Queensland Airlines, where its robust design and reliable performance suited regional and commuter routes.
In National Airlines service, the Nord 262 was employed on short-haul operations, benefiting from its Turbomeca Bastan engines, economical fuel consumption, and ability to operate from smaller regional airports.
