The MiG-19P was the first variant of the MiG-19 radar-equipped interceptors, which was developed in parallel with the MiG-19S clear-weather fighter in the early 1950s.
It was also used for limited close air support and fighter-bomber roles, mounting two cannons and carrying unguided missiles or bombs.
It was a single-seat, all-metal monoplane powered by two Mikulin RD-9B turbojets.
The MiG-19Ps were assigned to Soviet Air Force VVS, PVO, and naval units, and outside the USSR, within the Warsaw Pact, the largest user of the MiG-19P interceptor was Czechoslovakia, receiving a total of 27 aircraft in 1957.
The Polish Air Force acquired a total of 24 "P" models in 1957-58.

Three injection-molded kits are supplied in this box and each kit contains 21 parts, one clear part (the cockpit canopy) and one resin part.
A comprehensive decal sheet is included, enabling you to complete all three models in a particular air force scheme.
