The M142 HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) is a versatile, highly mobile rocket launcher system developed by the United States.
Mounted on a 5-ton truck frame, HIMARS can transport and fire six precision-guided rockets or a single ATACMS (Army Tactical Missile System) missile.
Designed for rapid deployment, HIMARS can be loaded and transported by C-130 aircraft, making it ideal for high-intensity, fast-moving battlefield environments.
Known for its accuracy, range (up to 300 kilometers with certain munitions), and adaptability, HIMARS has proven effective for both offensive and defensive operations, providing long-range fire support to counter and disrupt enemy forces.
