The Merkava Mk. 4M is the latest and most advanced version of Israel's formidable main battle tank series, purpose-built for survivability, firepower, and battlefield awareness.
Outfitted with the revolutionary Trophy Active Protection System (APS), this tank can detect and intercept incoming anti-tank missiles and RPGs in real time, making it one of the most battle-hardened and self-defending tanks in the world.
Powered by a 1,500 hp turbo-diesel engine, the Merkava 4M features improved modular composite armor, a digital battlefield management system, and a 120mm smoothbore gun capable of firing a wide range of munitions.
With crew protection at its core, the engine is front-mounted, and the rear compartment can carry additional soldiers or wounded personnel when needed.
The Merkava Mk. 4M with Trophy APS continues to serve as the backbone of the IDF's armored corps, proving its effectiveness in high-intensity conflicts and urban warfare alike.
