Details

The 7.5cm PaK40 was a powerful and effective anti-tank gun used by the German army during World War II.

It was designed to penetrate the armour of enemy tanks at long ranges and was widely regarded as one of the best anti-tank guns of the war.

The PaK40 had a 75mm gun with a muzzle velocity of 790 meters per second, which allowed it to fire armour-piercing rounds at a range of up to 12,000 meters.

The gun was usually operated by a crew of six and was mounted on a two-wheeled carriage that could be easily moved into position.

The PaK40 was used extensively on both the Eastern and Western Fronts of the war and was particularly effective against Soviet tanks.

It remained in service with the German army until the end of the war and was widely used by other armies in the post-war period.

Today, the 7.5cm PaK40 is an important artifact of World War II and is still used in military reenactments and museum exhibits around the world.
