The Sturmhaubitze 42 (StuH 42) Ausf.G Mid Prod, produced from July to October 1943, was a German self-propelled howitzer used during World War II.

This variant was an improved mid-production version of the StuH 42, featuring a 105mm howitzer mounted on the chassis of a Panzer III tank.

The StuH 42 Ausf.G Mid Prod was known for its versatility and ability to provide direct artillery support to infantry and armoured units on the battlefield.

With its powerful gun and sturdy design, it played a crucial role in various Eastern and Western Front battles, showcasing its effectiveness as a mobile artillery piece for the Wehrmacht.
