The Panzer soldiers of the Deutsche Afrika Korps (DAK) were German soldiers who served in the armored units of the German army during World War II in North Africa. The DAK was commanded by General Erwin Rommel and played a significant role in the North African campaign.
The DAK was formed in 1941 and consisted of German troops reinforced by Italian and other Axis forces. The Panzer soldiers of the DAK were part of the armored divisions and were known for their skill, training, and adaptability in desert warfare.
The DAK's armored units were equipped with a variety of tanks, including the Panzer III, Panzer IV, and Tiger tanks. These tanks provided significant firepower and mobility on the desert battlefield.
