The Gotha Go-229 A1, also known as the Horten Ho 229, was an experimental German jet-powered flying wing aircraft developed during World War II.
It was designed by the Horten brothers, Walter and Reimar Horten, and produced by Gothaer Waggonfabrik.
The Gotha Go-229 A1 was a revolutionary aircraft for its time, featuring a unique flying wing design with no traditional fuselage or tail section.
The absence of a tail reduced drag and provided improved aerodynamic efficiency.
