The GFLF Simba 8x8 is a powerful, purpose-built airport fire and rescue vehicle designed to respond rapidly to emergencies on the airfield.

Developed in Germany during the 1980s and 1990s, the Simba series became well-known for its rugged construction, high mobility, and impressive firefighting capability.

Driven by an 8x8 all-wheel-drive chassis, the Simba delivers exceptional off-road performance, allowing it to cross runways, grass, and rough terrain at high speed. Its twin-engine layout provides outstanding acceleration and reliability, while the vehicle’s advanced suspension ensures stability even when operating at maximum weight.

The Simba 8x8 typically carries large volumes of water and foam concentrate, supported by powerful roof- and bumper-mounted monitors capable of projecting firefighting agents with remarkable reach.
