In critical situations stealth design, high mobility, modern surveillance systems, optimal protection, and high a performance armourment are the key elements. In its class, the BOXER Motorised Armoured Transport Vehicle is superior to its rivals in all of these points. It's modular construction enables it to carry eight fully equipped infantrymen into action in the Section Transport Module. A FLW 200 Weapons Platform, fitted with either a 12.7mm machine gun or a 40mm grenade launcher as well as a multiple launch unit - serve as defensive armorment. Delivery of 272 BOXER's to the the Bundeswehr German Armed Forces) began in September 2009. The Netherlands Armed Forces will also receive the BOXER from 2011 onwards. It replaces, depending on the model - the "Fuchs" and the "M113" Armoured Transport Vehicles. Our model represents the production unit from 2011. Corresponding to the original unit, it has separate driving and mission module's representing the vehicles modular construction. The moveable FLW 200 can be fitted out as required. A driving position can also be fitted and is visible through a moveable hatch.
