The Republic F-84F Thunderstreak was a swept-wing fighter-bomber aircraft developed by Republic Aviation in the early 1950s.

It was an improved version of the earlier F-84 Thunderjet, featuring a more powerful engine and advanced avionics.

The F-84F was used extensively by the United States Air Force and its NATO allies during the Cold War as a tactical fighter-bomber, with a primary role of delivering nuclear weapons in case of conflict with the Soviet Union.

It also served as a trainer aircraft and was used in a number of other roles, such as photo reconnaissance and electronic warfare.

The F-84F remained in service with various air forces until the 1970s, when it was eventually replaced by more modern aircraft.
