The Hetzer was a German light tank destroyer of the Second World War.
It was based on the of the Panzer 38(t) light tank chassis and armed with a 75mm PaK 39 L/48 gun.
The low-profile, heavily armoured tank destroyer could be used to ambush enemy tanks and is acknowledged as one of the most successful tank destroyers of WWII, destroying hundreds of enemy tanks.

| Short Description | The Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer Late Production was a compact and highly effective German tank destroyer introduced in the later stages of World War II. Based on the Czech Panzer 38(t) chassis, the Hetzer combined low profile, sloped armor, and a powerful 7.5cm Pak 39 L/48 anti-tank gun, making it a deadly ambush predator on the battlefield. The late production variant featured refinements such as a remote-controlled MG 34 roof machine gun, simplified armor layouts, and improved manufacturing techniques for quicker assembly. This particular version, modeled with full interior, reveals the cramped but cleverly organized fighting compartment, showcasing crew positions, ammunition storage, transmission, and the Praga AC engine. Despite tight interior space and limited visibility, the Hetzer proved reliable, affordable, and effective—serving on both Eastern and Western fronts. |
