Last seen as Item 48209 1/35 Scale R/C German Panther Type G Late Version (w/2.4GHz Control Unit) in 2010, Tamiya welcomes this tank back to our 1/35 R/C Tank Series with newer R/C equipment.

After its appearance in mid-1943, the Panther was one of the mainstays of German armour through to the end of WWII.

The Ausf. G (type G) variant was available to troops from 1944, and was itself upgraded in the second half of the year.

The improvements included an alteration to the lower section of the gun shield to stop direct hits from entering the crew space, and it was given more of a jutting design to further improve survivability; damped exhausts improved nighttime stealth; and air intakes were added on the engine grilles to supply the crew with warm air in cold conditions.

Mobility, offensive power and survivability - the Panther achieved a remarkable balance of the three that made it a giant among WWII armour.

About the Model

- This is a 1/35 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 257mm, height: 85mm, width: 94mm (excluding figures and machine gun)
- The model authentically captures the form of the German Panther Type G Late Version
- Just like the actual tank, assembly type tracks are used to ensure that model motion is highly realistic
- A full range of motion – forward and reverse, turns, pivots, turret rotation and even gun elevation and depression – is coordinated by the 4-channel TTU-10 transmitter, in conjunction with the MC-07 control unit
- Includes two drive motors and two turret control unit motors. Four model speed options can be selected via the transmitter
- Comes with two full figures and pre-assembled two gearboxes
