The 9P140 Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) is a key component of the 9K57 Uragan Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) used by the Russian military.
The TEL serves as the platform for launching 220mm rockets with a range of up to 35 kilometers.
The 9P140 TEL is mounted on a tracked chassis which allows for greater mobility and flexibility on the battlefield. It can launch a full salvo of 16 rockets in under 20 seconds, making it a highly effective and lethal weapon system.
In addition to its role in launching rockets, the TEL also serves as a command and control center for the Uragan MLRS.
It is equipped with a range of advanced electronics and communications systems, enabling it to receive targeting information and communicate with other units on the battlefield.
