Lighter red earth variant that mimics red soils with high quartz sand content.
This colour is best used on vehicles landing on beaches, crossing/having crossed rivers.
Not suited for deep jungle.
You may also use this colour if standard red soils appear too flashy to you or you want to end up with very neutral finish.
Orange tone.
You can combine this pigment with its richer counterpart No. 5b for added variation.
Recommended techniques: dusting, capillary action, weathering liquid/paste
Combine with: Alkyd, ENML 2.0 or Acrylic binders
Available textures: zero, fine, coarse
