The Soviet BT-5 Light Tank was a fast and maneuverable tank used primarily during the 1930s and early 1940s.
Part of the BT series, it featured a Christie suspension system that allowed for high speeds on and off-road.
Armed with a 45mm main gun and a 7.62mm machine gun, the BT-5 was effective against lightly armored targets.
It had relatively thin armor, making it vulnerable to anti-tank weapons.
The BT-5 was notable for its versatility, as it could run on both tracks and wheels, a unique feature among tanks of its time.
It saw action in conflicts such as the Spanish Civil War and the early stages of World War II.
