The Bell UH-1Y Venom, also known as the “Yankee Huey”, is the modern evolution of one of the most famous helicopters in military aviation history.
Developed for the United States Marine Corps, the UH-1Y is a thoroughly upgraded, 21st-century version of the classic Huey design, featuring enhanced performance, advanced avionics, and vastly improved mission capability.
Introduced in the late 2000s, the UH-1Y serves as a multi-role utility helicopter capable of troop transport, close air support, casualty evacuation, reconnaissance, and logistics missions.
