The Kornet-D is a state-of-the-art anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) system mounted on the highly mobile Tiger-M (GAZ-233116) armored chassis.
Designed for precision strikes against armored vehicles, fortified positions, and low-flying aerial targets, the Kornet-D system enhances Russia’s battlefield capabilities with its long-range firepower and advanced targeting systems.
Key Features:
Dual Kornet-EM Missile Launchers:
The Kornet-D is equipped with two retractable launchers, each capable of firing Kornet-EM missiles with a range of up to 10 km against ground targets and 8 km against aerial threats.
Automatic Target Tracking:
The system features an advanced automatic target tracking system, allowing for fire-and-forget capability, reducing operator workload, and increasing hit probability.
High Penetration Power:
The Kornet-EM missiles can penetrate up to 1,300mm of armor behind explosive reactive armor (ERA), making it highly effective against modern main battle tanks.
Tiger-M Armored Chassis:
The Kornet-D is mounted on the Tiger-M 4x4 armored vehicle, providing high mobility, protection, and off-road capability. The Tiger-M’s durable design ensures reliable performance in harsh environments.
Multiple Target Engagement:
Capable of engaging multiple targets simultaneously, the Kornet-D can neutralize a variety of threats with high precision and minimal response time.
