The British Small Box Girder Bridge is a type of modular bridge that was developed by the British Army's Royal Engineers in the 1960s.

It consists of prefabricated steel sections that can be assembled on-site to create a sturdy and durable bridge.

The bridge is designed to be quickly and easily erected, making it ideal for use in military operations, disaster relief efforts, and other situations where a temporary bridge is needed.

The Small Box Girder Bridge is capable of spanning gaps of up to 40 meters and can support heavy military vehicles such as tanks and armored personnel carriers.

It has been widely used by the British military and has also been exported to other countries around the world.

Weighing 4 tons and rated up to 40 tons capacity, the 34ft-long tank-transportable bridge conveyed heavy Allied vehicles across gaps up to 30ft (e.g. bomb crater, anti-tank ditch), or up and over a seawall. Includes bridge parts common in Churchill SBG (AF35342) plus large additional new tooled sprue of AF35341 parts
