The Messerschmitt Me-262A-1a/2a was a German jet-powered fighter aircraft that was used by the Luftwaffe during World War II.

It was the world's first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft.

The Me-262A-1a/2a was developed in the early 1940s and first flew in 1942.

It was equipped with two Junkers Jumo 004 engines that provided a top speed of over 500 mph, making it much faster than any other aircraft of its time.

The aircraft was armed with four MK 108 30mm cannon and was capable of carrying a variety of bombs and rockets.

The Me-262A-1a/2a was designed primarily as a fighter aircraft, but it was also used in a ground attack role.

It was used extensively in the later stages of the war, particularly in defending against Allied bombers.

The Me-262A-1a/2a was a revolutionary aircraft that had a significant impact on the development of military aviation.

It represented a major advancement in technology and was a clear indication of the future of fighter aircraft.

Although it was not used in large numbers, it was a formidable opponent and its advanced technology influenced the development of post-war fighter aircraft.
