The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-10 was one of the final variants of Germany's iconic World War II fighter.
Introduced in late 1944, the G-10 was a high-performance upgrade designed to keep the aging airframe competitive against the Allies’ latest aircraft.
Fitted with the powerful DB 605 D-2 engine and a streamlined "Erla-Haube" canopy, it offered significantly improved speed, climb rate, and visibility over earlier models.
The Bf 109G-10 retained the rugged airframe and armament configuration of the Gustav series—typically armed with a 20mm MG 151/20 cannon firing through the propeller hub and two 13mm MG 131 machine guns above the engine.
It featured larger wheels and a refined engine cowling, giving it a distinctive profile.
Used by experienced Luftwaffe units on both Eastern and Western Fronts, the G-10 was fast, agile, and deadly in the hands of a skilled pilot.
Despite being outnumbered, it continued to pose a serious threat to Allied fighters and bombers in the closing months of the war.
Ideal for modellers and aviation enthusiasts, the Bf 109G-10 represents the last evolution of one of history’s most significant fighter aircraft.
