The Stryker M1130 Command Vehicle (CV) is a mission-critical member of the Stryker family, designed to serve as a mobile battlefield headquarters.
Built on the proven 8×8 Stryker chassis, the M1130 provides commanders with a secure, armoured platform for planning, coordinating, and directing operations in real time.
Outfitted with advanced communications suites, data terminals, and mapping systems, it allows staff officers to maintain continuous contact with front-line units and higher command, even in high-threat environments.
The M1130 CV-TACP (Tactical Air Control Party) variant further enhances battlefield coordination by integrating specialised equipment for directing close air support.
Operated by trained Forward Air Controllers, the CV-TACP enables rapid communication with aircraft, ensuring precision strikes and effective air–ground integration.
Its combination of secure radios, targeting systems, and situational awareness tools makes it indispensable for joint operations.
Both variants maintain the Stryker’s hallmark blend of mobility, protection, and adaptability, capable of traversing difficult terrain while shielding the crew from small-arms fire and shrapnel.
