The Hawker Tempest Mk.V Series 2 was a fighter aircraft used by the United Kingdom during World War II.
It was designed to be a high-performance aircraft, capable of engaging in a variety of combat missions, including ground attack and air superiority.
The Tempest Mk.V Series 2 was introduced in 1944 and featured several improvements over earlier models.
It was powered by a Bristol Centaurus radial engine and had a maximum speed of 710 km/h (440 mph).
The aircraft was armed with four 20 mm Hispano cannons, making it a highly effective air-to-air combat aircraft.
The Tempest Mk.V Series 2 saw extensive service in the later stages of the war, particularly during the Battle of Normandy and the subsequent Allied advance into Germany.
