The Focke-Wulf Ta-152H-1 was a high-altitude interceptor developed in the final stages of World War II by Germany.

A derivative of the successful Fw 190 series, the Ta-152H-1 featured a long wingspan, pressurized cockpit, and a powerful Junkers Jumo 213E engine equipped with a two-stage supercharger and MW 50 water-methanol injection for burst speed.

Designed to counter Allied bombers and fast reconnaissance aircraft at high altitudes, it could reach speeds of over 750 km/h (466 mph) and had impressive climb performance.

Although only a small number entered service before the war’s end, the Ta-152H-1 is considered one of the most advanced piston-engine fighters of its era.
