The Jaguar S.S. 100, produced between 1936 and 1940, is one of the most iconic British sports cars of the pre-war era. Built by SS Cars Ltd. — the company that would soon adopt the famous “Jaguar” name — the S.S. 100 became renowned for its striking design, superb handling, and spirited performance.

Available with 2.5-litre or 3.5-litre straight-six engines, the S.S. 100 offered impressive speed for its time, with the 3.5-litre version capable of exceeding 100 mph — a major achievement that inspired its name.

Its lightweight chassis, sweeping wings, upright grille, and exposed headlamps give it a timeless, unmistakable silhouette, making it one of the most recognisable classic sports cars ever built.

The S.S. 100 performed strongly in rallies and sporting events across Europe, earning a reputation for reliability and agility.
