The M109A2 is an upgraded version of the original M109 155mm self-propelled howitzer, developed by the United States to provide mobile and powerful artillery support.

Introduced in the late 1970s, the M109A2 featured significant improvements in reliability, range, and rate of fire, making it a critical asset for modern artillery units.
