The SA-226TS is a twin-engine regional turboprop airliner developed in the United States as part of the Swearingen Metro family, designed to provide fast, efficient short-haul passenger and cargo operations.
Known for its sleek, pressurised fuselage and high cruise speed, the SA-226TS became a popular choice with regional airlines, charter operators, and corporate users around the world.
Powered by twin turboprop engines, the SA-226TS was optimised for reliability and performance on short to medium routes, offering good climb characteristics and economical operation.
Its narrow-body cabin typically accommodated up to 19 passengers, making it well suited to feeder routes connecting smaller regional airports with major hubs.
