'German Anti-tank Gun', 7,5 cm PaK 40. The PaK 40 was perhaps one of the most important anti-tank weapons used by the Germans throughout the war. Our 1/72 scale model depicts the cannon in its wheeled configuration. More than 20,000 examples were produced between 1939 and 1945. They were used on a variety of Wehrmacht military vehicles, both with a wheeled chassis and without. The cannon was also sold to a number of German allies. It was used on all of the Wehrmacht's battlefronts. However, it continued to serve in the military after the conflict ended. Many of them were captured and ended up in a few different nations. The most recent war in which the gun was employed was most likely the fight in Vietnam, where it was utilised against US vessels (the captured PaK 40s had been delivered to Vietnamese communists by the Soviet Union).
The 7.5cm PaK 40 is available in the colours of the Wehrmacht, Slovak Army, Finnish Army, Czechoslovak Army, and Vietnamese Army in this kit.
