A real MAN!
After the 3-axle MAN wowed the truck modelling community, it seemed logical to build a replica of the 2-axle version. The MAN TGX 18.540 is thus the second German tractor unit from the TAMIYA truck range. This model kit is 458 mm long, weighs around 3 kg and can be used to create impressive combinations. Under the forward tilting cab is the proven and robust Tamiya Truck technology. A powerful electric motor delivers its power to the rear axle via a switchable 3-speed gearbox. A detailed aluminium chassis gives the model the stability it needs. Thanks to its high weight and trailer base plate, the MAN TGX 18.540 can be coupled to numerous TAMIYA and CARSON MODEL SPORT trailers. The optional multifunction unit can simulate almost all sound and lighting functions of the original.
